Admitiv - full of promise with the potential to support your enrollment office operations

From time to time, I come across companies, programs, or ideas that make me pause and think, “that’s pretty cool and could be useful for many enrollment teams of many sizes.” Whenever that happens, I’m going to start sharing them here.

Why? One of the things I’ve always valued most over 30 years in this work is the generosity of trusted enrollment colleagues at other schools. People have always been willing to share ideas, tools, and approaches, not because they had to, and certainly not because they were being paid, but simply because we asked and because we all understood we were in this work together. That spirit of shared learning has shaped how I think about this field.

In that same spirit, I wanted to pass along one such example I recently came across.

A quick note before I do: this isn’t an endorsement, a formal review, or a paid placement. It’s simply me sharing something I’ve seen that others in this work might find interesting to explore.

Recently, I had a chance to learn more about a newer company called Admitiv, which is building AI tools specifically for admissions and enrollment teams. What caught my attention right away is the very practical ways Admitiv could support enrollment operations.

Here are a few of the many pieces they’re building and why they stood out to me:

Used thoughtfully, that kind of insight could help teams prioritize outreach and prepare for more meaningful, personalized conversations. It’s less about “screening” and more about being ready. Yes, you could probably research most of this information on your own, but do you have the time to do so quickly everyday? I doubt it.

Admitiv condenses application materials into a clear, one-page summary, highlighting strengths and flagging potential concerns. If it works as described, I could see this helping teams move more efficiently while also bringing greater consistency to how applications are reviewed.

By using historical data to assess how closely current applicants align with past admits and enrolled students, it offers a way to think about both admission decisions and likely yield. Not as a replacement for professional judgment, but as an additional lens that could support planning and forecasting.

These are just a few of many features you’ll find in Admitiv. Most interestingly, perhaps, is that they are just getting started, so I’ll be watching to see where this all leads
